Walbro FRB-17 Industrial & Marine Fuel Pump
The difference between the Walbro FRB-17 Industrial and Marine Fuel Pump, and the nearly identical FRB-15, lies solely in the connector. This pump has two leads with a Packard electrical connector, which can alternately be clipped (as shown in the picture above.) The FRB-15 features a single positive lead with bullet connector, with the ground attached to the case of the pump. Other than this, the two pumps are identical in pressure (6-8 PSI), in flow (34 gallons per hour), in voltage (24 volts) in estimated life (over 18,000 hours) and even in Coast Guard approval and resistance to salt spray (1000 hours.) The Walbro FRB-17 Fuel Pump supersedes the Walbro 6154 Fuel Pump, which is discontinued.
